Daniel Bastidas
PhD Student

I did my bachelor in Economics in Ecuador (Bac+4) at the Catholic University of Ecuador (PUCE) and a master’s degree on Development Economics at the Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences (FLACSO), also in Quito, Ecuador. I then moved to France were I first joined the Erasmus Mundus Quantitative Economic Methods (QEM) program and the Empirical and Theoretical Economics (ETE) masters at Paris 1 and PSE. I am currently doing my first year of PhD at the University of Paris 1. My main research interest is how energy shift can be financed, and the role the private banking sector should play, in particular from the perspective of a non-monetary-sovereign economy
